One of the things that becomes apparent as soon as you start publishing software through portals such as the Play Store or just maintaining the paperwork on your brand is that things need constant updates. This in itself requires a lot of time (and sometimes money) which takes resources out of the development efforts. Within six months of meeting the Android API requirements of the Play Store, there is now a reminder that apps must be updated to the next API level if any changes are made. This is just an extra hoop to jump though which seems a bit pointless and will probably mean that the baseline spec for the app will rise even though the app is the same.
The other update that will be required soon is that the trademark “ArcVenture” will need to be renewed. This doesn’t require much time but as with most legal things requires money. Luckily I have had some very kind support over the last few years from my Patreon subscribers and those who have purchased ArcVenture and that money has been set aside for costs like this. The renewal of the ArcVenture trademark will mean that the name will continue to be owned by TechnoVisual and cannot be used by anyone else for the next ten years.
