Hello everyone, and a huge thank you to all my subscribers and Patreon supporters – your encouragement really keeps this project moving forward!
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been putting the finishing touches on the browser-based ArcVenture Digsite alpha. This is the early playable version of our interactive archaeology experience, designed to run directly in your web browser – no downloads required.
One key reason for the wait on a fresh public update is that I’ve been holding off to integrate the latest Rogue Engine version 1.0. The Digsite experience is built using Rogue Engine (a fantastic browser-focused 3D engine powered by three.js), and this major update brings important improvements in stability, performance, and features that will make the experience smoother and more reliable for everyone trying it out.I’m now working through the upgrade process – testing everything to make sure the controls, visuals, and interactions all feel just right in the new version. It’s taking a little longer than planned, but it’s worth it to deliver the best possible alpha for you to explore.

Once the upgrade is complete and I’ve ironed out any last wrinkles, I’ll share the updated browser link on Patreon so patrons can jump in and have a go. In the meantime, if you’re keen to see progress or have thoughts on what you’d like to see in ArcVenture, feel free to drop a comment or message me – your feedback is invaluable.
Thanks again for your patience and support. More soon – stay tuned!
